Make Up For Ever "15 Artist Shadow Palette" Review/Swatches on Dark Skin

Make Up For Ever has a new palette out for the 2015 Holiday Season and it is breathtakingly Beautiful. Every eye shadow is super pigmented! If you'd like to see how these eye shadows look on a woman of color (WOC) you've come to the right place!

If you're a makeup junkie that collects palettes you'll love this one. It has a brilliant orange front packaging that is covered with sparkly glitter. Although you can FEEL the texture of the glitter, it isn't messy at all (no fall out). I thought it was a super bold move to make the palette orange but, it's definitely different than all the other holiday palettes I've seen.

The back of the palette shows the name of each individual shade. This is a great idea so Make Up For Ever enthusiasts can buy the individual shades at the store and create their own palettes with the shades they love.

The palette has a nice large mirror inside. The also has a
palette has a magnetic closure.

As far as the eye shadows in the palette, they're terrific! The pigmentation is insane as you'll see in the picture swatches below. I used the entire blue section to create a makeup look and I received so much amazingly good feedback. The colors bounced off of my dark brown skin in such a beautiful way that I couldn't do anything but stare in the mirror. Of course, I took pics and shared them to Instagram immediately!

There are no matte shades in this palette (which was a bummer) but they did include neutral shades, as well as, a rich, dark black. Most palettes don't include black so, needless to say; I was over the moon! The rest of the shades are a little glittery (no too chunky), shimmery and frosty.

Overall, Make Up For Ever introduced a holiday palette that is functional, fun and flirty. Everything a holiday palette should be.
